PepsiCo Partners with AWS to Drive Digital Transformation

PepsiCo has announced a new partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to boost its digital transformation efforts. This multi-year agreement focuses on using AWS’s cloud services and infrastructure to drive faster innovation in artificial intelligence (AI), enhance supply chain operations, and create more personalized experiences for consumers.

Athina Kanioura, PepsiCo’s Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, explained that a “cloud-first approach” has been crucial for their digital transformation. This new collaboration will improve PepsiCo’s cloud strategy, giving the company more agility, intelligence, and scalability.

Matt Garman, CEO of AWS, shared his thoughts on the partnership, saying that companies like PepsiCo need to keep innovating to meet consumer demands. With AWS, PepsiCo can use AI and cloud services to offer personalized experiences, optimize its supply chains, and create new operational capabilities.

One of the main goals of the partnership is to explore digital supply chain capabilities. This includes improving real-time insights into marketing performance, audience segmentation, and personalized content. The two companies are also working together on predictive maintenance for PepsiCo’s manufacturing and logistics operations. This will help the company achieve better operational efficiency and create a more resilient supply chain worldwide.
